What stood out about this opportunity that makes it such a unique experience?

I greatly enjoyed the outing trips. We would go to farms, agriculture projects, and other great experiences. It was an awesome place to meet friends and get involved in areas of your interest. Another cool part was that there were different competitions, cash prizes and scholarships.

What is something a youth attending this opportunity should know?

Make sure you commit! You should have a passion for agriculture and learning new things. Another tip is be prepared to do a little bit of public speaking as that is included.

What was your favourite activity/experience of the opportunity?

My all time favourite part about 4-H was the provincial public speaking. It was amazing to go through the different levels of competition and compete!
