Overview:

We are a Canadian federally registered non-profit that provides a common platform for high school and university students to lead and engage with environmental and energy sustainability.

United by a common vision for sustainability and the values of identity and involvement, each region of SYC hosts its own youth-led initiatives, while simultaneously engaging with local partner organizations to quickly connect our diverse members with personalized sustainability-focused opportunities.

Our members walk the sustainability walk. Each one of our affiliated regions hosts unique opportunities for high school and university students to get actively involved in making our world a better place to live.

At SYC, we are action driven. From holding conferences featuring Nobel Laureates and sustainability fairs showcasing local nonprofits & youth initiatives, to winter member retreats and shoreline cleanups, our mission is to empower every high school and university student to get hands-on in becoming active leaders in bettering our planet.
