Getting a taste of university! The people i met there were great. We learned about stem, through in classrooms and workshops, but we also went out to explore the city for fun. One day we went to the Santa Monica Pierre with was awesome.

What is something a youth attending this opportunity should know?

Be prepared to learn lots. Don’t be nervous you’ll have lots of fun and meet great people. Ucla has a LOT of hills and a LOT of stairs, be warned. And don’t worry about the food because it was awesome. I have never had such good campus food before.

What was your favourite activity/experience of the opportunity?

The best part had to be meeting awesome people and the content in the lessons were amazing. My personal favourite was the physics class.
